Micro Fire Suppression System

Micro Fire Suppression System – Targeted Fire Safety Solution

If you are looking for an effective and innovative solution to protect your critical equipment, the Micro Fire Suppression System is the perfect choice! At Koza Engineering, we offer this system as an ideal fire safety solution for small-volume areas.

Key Advantages

Targeted Protection – The system focuses directly on equipment at fire risk, providing rapid and effective intervention.
Flexible Design – Its compact structure fits into small and tight spaces, saving valuable space.
Eco-Friendly – Uses environmentally safe fire suppression gases.
No Chemical Residue – Ensures the protection of sensitive equipment without the need for cleanup.
Cost-Effective Solution – Uses minimal gas for maximum efficiency, reducing operational costs.

How the Micro Fire Suppression System Works

Fire Detection
The Micro Fire Suppression System is triggered by fire detection sensors that detect smoke, heat, or flames as early warning signs of a fire.

Gas Discharge
Once a fire is detected, the suppression agent (commonly HFC-227ea, FK 5-1-12, or CO₂) is released.

  • The system is optimized for localized gas discharge, ensuring that only the affected area is targeted.
  • The fire suppression gas is stored in high-pressure cylinders and directed through pipes and nozzles to the fire zone.

Rapid Fire Suppression
The gas works in several ways to extinguish the fire:
Oxygen Reduction: The gas lowers oxygen levels, preventing combustion.
Heat Reduction: The gas cools down the surrounding temperature, stopping fire spread.

Fire Containment and Prevention

  • The gas quickly disrupts the combustion reaction, extinguishing the flames efficiently.
  • The system does not cause permanent damage to the protected environment.

Post-Fire Protection
Protection of Sensitive Equipment: Since the suppression process leaves no chemical residue or moisture, sensitive equipment remains safe and operational.
No Cleanup Required: The system is designed for clean suppression, eliminating the need for post-fire maintenance.
